Do the shared setup once before building records inside individual modules. That keeps names, access, backups, and venue details consistent everywhere.
Sign in as the installation owner
-
Open the FECForge address
Use the local or server address supplied during installation. The application launcher appears after you sign in.
-
Change any temporary password
If the account was reset by an administrator, FECForge asks for a private replacement password before opening the launcher.
-
Confirm the version
Open License & modules from the suite header. Confirm the installed version before entering live data.
Add the venue identity and defaults
-
Open Settings from the launcher
Add the venue logo and the business name that staff should recognize on shared computers.
-
Name the systems your venue uses
Where a module asks for a POS or trade-account label, use the name your managers already know instead of a vendor-specific example.
-
Review module-specific settings
Open each licensed module and use the consistent Settings control to define its sources, rules, categories, or equipment.
Prepare people and data
-
Create individual user accounts
Avoid one shared manager password. Give every person their own account so access and activity can be traced correctly.
-
Assign only the modules they need
Module access is separate from the venue license. A licensed module can still be hidden from a staff member who does not work in it.
-
Create the first backup
Choose storage outside the application data directory, run a manual backup, and confirm that the file appears before importing live records.
